Jamie Spears’ Legal Control of Britney Extended; Strange New Twist in Case Reeks of Sam Lutfi

The Commissioner in Britney Spears’ conservatorship case has extended Jamie Spears’ tenure as conservator until the next hearing,March 10.

The judge granted a request to have Britney’s older brother,Bryan Spears, named as the trustee of his sister’s trust. Bryan, 30, and attorney Ivan Taback have been granted the authority to serve ascotrustees.

That was to be expected, but this next part?Out of nowhere.

A New York lawyer has filed papers in Federal court, asking that Britney’s conservatorshipcase be taken awayfrom L.A. County Superior Court.

Attorney Jon Eardley claims Britney Spears’ rights have been snatched away from her and she has been cut off from life as she knows it.

Eardley claims that "It is doubtful that Ms. Spears can receive equal protection and a fair trial or hearing in the custody proceedings because of the intense media scrutiny of what would normally be private aspects of a person’s life."

Jon Eardley wants an injunction issued promptly in federal court, asking the judge for the power to protect Britney Spears in the custody case as well.

The documents say the "deprivation of her civil liberties by the conservator is so severe as to interfere with the effectiveness of the scheduled medications that are covered by the Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act."

Legal experts say this last part is the attempt to get the Federal court to accept jurisdiction of the case, effectively givingJamie Spearsthe boot.

It’s not clear who Eardley is working for in filing this. Yet if you ask us, it seems quite likely that youknowwho is behind it.

Sam Lutfi and his PR spin doctor, Michael Sands, must have something to do with the filing. Britney’s confidant and selfproclaimed manager is at odds with Jamie.

Attorney Jeryll Cohen, representing Jamie Spears, says they still haven’t been able to formally serveSam Lutfiwith a restraining order against him he somehow has avoided it despite partying in public places with Alli Sims and Perez Hilton.

Either way, we’d be surprised if he weren’t behind this strange filing. We know Osama Lutfi well enough to know he doesn’t give up power easily.

Reports out of Sin City say the marriage betweenPinkand Carey Hart may be fading to black. Or the rocks. Experiencing turbulence. And then some.

Although the singer’s husband of 21 months, a motocross star, told theLas Vegas ReviewJournalin August that "everything’s fine" between them,celebrity gossipsites have run amok with rumors of the couple’s itching to ditch their union.

"We’re just not getting along anymore. We each need some more space. We need our distance. It’s not like it was when we first started,"Pinkwas heard telling friends on September 14 at West Hollywood hot spot Eleven.

Pink’s rep, for the record, calls the report "complete bullsh!t."

They’ve teamed up for a duet and taken the stagetogether in Australia.

But fans have not seen the last of the unexpected tandem of Justin Bieber and Chris Brown: the pair will star together in a music video for their track "Next 2 U."

"I can’t tell you anything about that yet, but it’s going to happen," director ColinTilley toldMTV of the shoot. "It’s gonna be big. It’s gonna be big. I can’t say anything else."

Tilley also directed Brown’s on his eyepopping video for "Look at Me Now" and says the artist is "always down to make something different."

But we still find it very odd for Justin to team up with such a controversial star.What do you think of his duet with Brown?

About a month or so ago, we reported a rumor that actor Colin Farrell knocked up his girlfriend Alicja Bachleda (also known asAlicja BachledaCurus).

Well, the actor has officially confirmed the news!

At the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday, Colin Farrell wenton the recordsaying that Alicja Bachleda is indeed carrying his love child. That settles that!

The couple began dating earlier this year.

Alicja Bachleda is the latest to be impregnated by Colin Farrell. Nice.

Farrell, who has a reputation for getting around, previously knocked up girlfriend Kim Bordenave, the mother of the star’s fiveyear old son, James.

Hopefully Alicja BachledaCurus doesn’t expect him to put a ring on it. Dude doesn’t do that sorta thing. Kinda likeLil Wayne, only 23 kids short.

Nas to Pay Kelis $44K Per Month

Things are looking up Kelis. A day after welcoming a baby boy, the singer was awarded nearly $44,000 inmonthly supportfrom her ex Nas at a hearing Thursday.

That’s enough to cover more than half her $80,000 in expenses! Go, Kelis!

The "Milkshake" provider filed for divorce from the rapper in April while she was seven months pregnant. Nas, who was not there as she welcomed son Knight in NYC, had initially asked a court to deny Kelis any spousal support.

He then proposed paying Kelis a onetime payment of $20,000 until the judge could settle on an appropriate spousal and child support amount at a later hearing.

Nas’ income is$147,000 a month.

Unsympathetic Nas wanted Kelis to fend for herself.

But on Thursday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Louis Meisinger rejected the offer, stating that new mom Kelis needed more money to accommodate her life.

Contacted by Us Weekly after thebirth of Knighton Thursday, Kelis’ rep said: "The beautiful baby boy and his mother are doing wonderful."

Erin Andrews Naked Video Filmed at Two Hotels?

A review of six video clips shot by the perv who secretly videotaped ESPN reporter Erin Andrews naked and walking around her hotel room may suggest that the perpetrator may be connected with her coverage of sports events.

Consider:

• Four of thehotel videoclips were shot in the same place.
• Two of the clips, meanwhile, were from a different hotel.
• The furniture in the two rooms is different, and in hotel #1, the peephole used to film Andrews is round, while in hotel #2, the peephole is jagged.

The first set of videos showErin Andrews nude, curling her hair and looking into a mirror. In the second set of clips, Erin is also naked, but she’s ironing.

An extremely upset Erin Andrews does not know where she was filmed and the person or personsshopping the picsand videos for profit is still at large.

But the videos raise the suspicion that it was aninside jobby someone familiar with her schedule and possibly even traveling on the road with the reporter.

Her lawyer and ESPN are hunting down the losers responsible for the invasion of privacy of a beautiful, talented woman who had no idea she was being taped.

We have seen a couple of clips and nude Erin Andrews pictures from the tape(s), but will not post them out of respect for Erin, who is the victim of a crime.

Now, if she wants to pose inPlayboysomeday, that would be different …
